A stunning Art Deco listed building, Paisley's Russell Institute opened its doors as a child welfare centre in 1927.
Sadly it closed those doors in 2011 whilst operating as a health centre. Luckily a £5 million regeneration grant brought the building back to life in 2017. And we were delighted to play a part.
This involved the painstaking but precious work of restoring many of the original steel windows. Then replacing any beyond repair, with new Crittall steel windows.
Now it's beautifully restored and is clearly one of Paisley's architectural treasures. Used by Skills Scotland, it has helped boost footfall in Paisley Town Centre.
